RV lock - vinyl gasket install

We ordered slam baggage locks during the Black Friday Sale. Upon install, we realized the new lock would not entirely cover the opening left when the old lock was removed. I contacted RV Lock and they sent us these vinyl gaskets to cover the hole. A little difficult to align, but the end result we are happy with!

Tony installed the new lock (with one screw) and I traced it so I would have a goby for alignment.

The vinyl gasket has paper on both sides. Remove paper from the sticky side, then turn over so you can see the shape for alignment. Once stuck down, peel off second paper.

Second lock installed.

Two locks finished install. Third is on off-door side.

We are now key free!

Nice job Erika you will love them.
I see you put them on both sides of the door.

Yes we only have 3 slam baggage door locks on our coach. The desire was to be secure (all locked) and have the convenience to be key free, so we bought 3 keyless slam baggage locks (during Black Friday, so a really good deal).

We installed one of the 3 and used it (with small gap) on our recent 1500 mile trip over the holidays. It was wonderful!
