Warranty on Floor and or Vinyl flooring??

Does anyone know what the warranty is on a 2011 Bighorn? I'm not sure if the flooring has gone bad or not. We have Vinyl flooring that has just been tore up by the kitchen slide and other vinyl that doesn't feel like it's attached to the flooring. It feels like air pockets under the vinyl.

Hi Ken or Cory, your warranty on a 2011 Bighorn is, or was, one year.
The vinyl is only attached to the floor at the perimeter.
If you have air bubbles that could contribute, or it could be the Arizona heat.
You may also have some moisture swelling the wood under the vinyl.
If your vinyl is already damaged you will need to replace it, so that would be a good time to examine the wood.

Peace
Dave

You'll also want to inspect the slide to see if rollers/brackets have a problem, or if something underneath on the outside has slipped.

Our 2011 Bighorn had grooves ( after the second trip ) in the kitchen vinyl flooring, this is caused by the rollers that support the slide out. Customer service representative let us know that after one year, the warranty had expired so nothing Hartland could cover. The representative suggested putting a flat plate of hard material on the floor where the rollers make contact. This was not a good idea as the plate could move and jam under the slide out and also would be a trip hazard.
Rollers supported on vinyl flooring is not a good design. Once vinyl is stretched it will not return to its original shape. Vinyl flooring needs to float due to expansion and contraction.

Lippert (manufacturer of the slide-out system) and others make Slide-out Slickers like these to protect carpet and vinyl. That's probably what the rep was suggesting.

We had grooves also. Took it to a dealer. The area under the slides have screws that are backing out from a seal or part from under the slide. Repair entails installing T Nuts and bolts instead of wood screws. The wood screws work their way loose creating the grooves/scratches. This was explained to us and repaired by an extremely qualified and reputable dealer in Coos Bay, Oregon...Porters RV.
