M33 fixes and tips

First, on the M33 we all know the bunk house door opens the wrong way. Remove the screws in ALL the hardware. Flip the door and jamb trims 180 degrees and reinstall. Place felt door bumper on hall closet door where the door knob WILL hit.

Second, buy a single piece of 1 inch inside diameter foam pipe insulation. Leave the sticky edge protectors ON! Place this foam on the upper edge of the kitchen slide out to protect the awning from the edges of the slide out.

isn't the reason for the door to swing away from the bunkroom to prevent crunching the door when you open/close the slides?

Yes! It is! Lmao. believe it or not, it opens IN from the factory. This has two problems. First, it can get crunched by the slide out in that space, and second, when the hide-a-bed is out you can not open the door. Both of these situations are dangerous. Do the door flip...lol

That is interesting that your door opened into the bunkroom instead of away from the bunk room.
The floor plan for the Mallard shows that the door opens away from the bunkroom where the nearly identical Northtrail Floorplan shows that the door swings towards the bunkroom.
