Awnings on slides

Could anyone give me some insite on tightening up the fabric on the slide awnings. A couple of mine (factory installed) 3400rl are loose enough to sag a little bit. In the wind it sounds like the roof is going to blow off.

Thanks in advance

Hi Guy's n Gal's:

You were reading my mind, I always wondered this same thing, I haven't had any trouble YET. But my last 5ver's were saggy.

I like the one's I see advertised in Trailer Life, they have a pop up feature that makes a ridge in the middle. like your house roof, water runs right off.

Maybe Heartland can change to that brand, which I can't remember at this time.

In a back issue of Trailor Life had a good idea about making support from 1/2 inch pvc pipe to put under the slider awning to get the water away so that it will not sage in the middle and hold water. I will look in the back issue and post the instruction when I find them.
