My wife and I are about to move into a toy hauler full time.
We've never done this before, so we're excited and nervous.
These seem to be nice toy haulers.

We have a chance to buy a 2011 Road Warrior 405RW.

Does anyone have experience with this model? Tips? Tricks? Warnings? Advice?

Mike, Bette and I had the same RV for several years and I loved it, Bette not so much as we are full timers and she drooled over the more plush rigs. Our RW had the long tool box with two doors in the slope of the garage. These doors are heavy and a little awkward to handle, so I copied a mod from this forum and reversed the way the doors opened. Before the change, the doors opened towards the front of the garage and almost required you to open the ramp to do it easily. After the change, the doors opened towards the back of the garage and opened easily when the ramp was up. Good luck with your new rig" I'm sure you will love it and welcome to the Heartland family. If you haven't joined the club yet, you might want to consider that.

The one thing that I would be mindful of is the age and brand of tires.
These large trailers need good tires for safe travel.
Check the DOT date code, if they are the original tires replace them.

Peace
