Anybody else have fridge door fall off ??

Our Dometic fridge has developed a new feature. It just comes off in your hand. It makes it real easy to see whats inside.

Just wondering if anybody else has had this feature, and if so, was the Dometic warranty any good. Ours is 2.5 years old.

I hope the roof doesn't a new feature of an ability to see stars at night

I'm not your biggest Dometicrap fan so I would have to say "thats what they do"

I'm looking at a Dometic book from 2005 and it says the Dometic warranty is 3 years. However, I think I found somewhere else that labor is only 2 years, but his doesn't say.

Not the Dometic so far, but had it happen on a Norcold. Nut came loose on hinge side and the bottom hinge was just a pin sitting in a hole. Door was loaded at the time, almost dropped me to the ground. After that I learned to check that thing often. I'll have to look at the Dometic and see if it's hooked the same way.

There is a steel hinge pin attached to the frame, and the hole for the pin is plastic on the door, thats what broke. I've got it wired back on till we get home. Looks real nice. And I did it without duct tape.
