12 volt system problems

Only have 12V power when plugged into shoreline. At buss block for hydraulics (etc) have 13+ volts coming from converter; but only 9 volts at buss block leading to batteries and batteries only showing around 8 to 9 volts of charge. There are two separate positive cables coming to the separate buss blocks. Have a 2103 415 Road Warrior. Any idea if unit has more than one converter? thanks for any help.

Hi keithbackes,

The path between the Power Converter and the battery goes through a 12V manual reset mini-circuit breaker located on the buss bar. 13V on the converter side and 9V on the battery side indicates the breaker has tripped. Feel the edges of the breakers for a teeny-tiny reset button. After it's been reset, power will flow to keep the battery charged, and when disconnected from shore power, battery power will flow to the fuse box and lights, etc.

I've attached a picture of the breaker showing the tiny reset button, along with a picture of the buss bar/breakers with rubber boot removed. The arrangement of breakers on your trailer may be different, but look for the thick wires.
