Vents open when RV stored outside in heat?

I'm a first time travel trailer owner. I live in Georgia. The summers get hot where I live (90+ degrees is common in summer). When the trailer is stored (outside), will the heat damage anything inside the trailer and -- if so -- would leaving the roof vents open cure the potential damage?

We also get a bit of rain so I'm guessing if vents stay open, I need to buy vent covers to keep the rain out?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Scott

If you put vent covers over them, leaving them open while in storage will help release the built-up interior heat.

Thx guys. Maxxair is the brand I saw on Amazon with the best overall reviews. Ordering a pair today.
