Should there be a drawere under my jacknife sofa??

I was cleaning in my 09 2998rb last night and noticed two cabinet latches on the legs of the sofa in the bunkroom. Was there supposed to be a drawer like the one on our living room sofa under this thing? it seems weird that I have latches (just like the latches on all of the cabinets) and no drawer.

bgscott, i beleive what you were looking at is a latch for a kick plate that they built in at one time. thanks John Sundance Manager
