If you don't mind me asking, what insurance coverages do you carry? Not the brand but the coverages.

Thanks I need to get the ball rolling really soon.

  • Collision - covers cost of repairs if you hit a tree, or have another mishap that damages the RV.
  • Comprehensive - Covers damage from fire, theft, hail, other things. Possibly from a blowout.
  • Full-timer coverage - if you are full time.
  • Vacation Liability - should be included in the Comprehensive, but you should check (coverage if someone gets hurt while visiting you, or perhaps even an uninvited child tripping over something on your site).
  • Medical - Injury at or around the RV while away from home. Should be included in comprehensive, but you should check. Also note that while this can help with things like ambulance bill, copays, etc., payments get reported and your medical insurer may investigate whether you owe them some of that money.

Liability for damage you cause to people or property while towing is covered by your tow vehicle insurance.

On new or almost new RVs, you should consider coverage that will pay for a replacement new RV or pay you the original purchase price of your RV.
