Today is one of those days that pet owners dread. After futile attempts to get Max back on an even keel with degenerative kidney function, we had to let him go. Administering sub-Q fluids and appetite stimulants were not having a positive effect. What little he ate came right back out . We will sorely miss him.

So sorry for your loss. We lost our dog last month. She had a massive heart attack and collapsed in the back yard. No prior symptoms and only eight years old. Now we have the ashes of three dogs in our closet that we don't know what to do with. I really am sorry for your loss. Someone said that if dogs and cats don't go to heaven, I want to go where they went.

Sorry for your loss. Pets become our companion and almost like a child to us. He is not in any pain now and as time goes your pain will ease, but never go completely away.
