Bathroom Light Switch - Move 3 switched to 1 ???

Anyone ever try to consolidate the 3 switches in your bathroom (well...we have 3, guess some could have more or less) into just 1 switch??

Seems like I am always flipped all 3 on, so why not just have them all under the control of 1 switch?

Here is what the back of my current 3 switches looks like.

That's not a bad idea at all. It would be nice to be able to hit 1 switch and turn them all on. But I think I'd pull through each of the other switches so you could still turn certain sets of Lights Off individually.
So 1 switch would Power all 3 other switches. Then if you didn't want them all on you could shut each set off.
Hope that made sense.
I think I will do this thanks Jim.

I'm going to go do that right now !!!!!
I have 4 switches and one of them is for those cheesy Casino LED s strip lights above the bed that we don't use and accully quit working anyways. I'll use that switch as master power switch to power the other 3.

Post a picture of the wiring. Then I'll give it a shot later today.

It's done
Why didn't I think of that a long time ago.

The top right switch now is Master power to the other 3

Thanks Jim for the good idea. Now we'll see if DW will figure it out without me telling her

Had to wait until we got home from last trip, as I didn't have the correct wire crimps with me.

Here is my solution. Very easy.

1 - Turn off 12v power (trailer is unplugged)
2 - Found best location for master switch and cut hole
3 - Spliced into master (the red one) 12v line coming into the 3 independent switches. As you can see, the 12v power is looped to each switch
4 - Attached main 12v power to Master Switch
5 - Screw switch into wall....Done.

I can now leave the 3 switches in "on" position and turn them all on with the master switch. If we ever want to turn off a light, just simply use original switch.

Nice mod! We tend to use the shower light as an evening light in the BR. I also have a battery powered LED light above the sliding door that shines inward in the BR. I reach up and touch it for a low level light while draining my radiator in the middle of the night, so I do not miss the radiator drain catch basin!!!

I thought about doing that, but we ended up getting a 2 pack of there lights....and they are FANTASTIC!!!

I placed one in the cabinet with all RV lights switches. I only comes on when it detects it is dark and there is motion.....saves the battery! Lights up the control panel and you easily see all your switches.

I used the second one above our toilets. The SECOND you open the bathroom door....BAM!!....this sucker lights up the bathroom...works beyond my exceptions (and doesn't use any power from RV)

Beers are on me if you buy these and don't think they are simply the best way to provide light in places that need it. Had mine for 2 years...batteries are still going strong!

Beers, have to be recycled!!! :D:D:D

On edit: I just placed an order. The switch/control cabinet really needs a light.

We also added stick on hooks in there to hang golf cart and other keys. Thanks Chris
