I did a double-take on the last photo. Is that frost on the roof?
Yes, it is frost. Not the first time this summer. Highs are 65-75 all summer. Low temps are getting down into the mid and upper 30s. We run the furnace at night most of the summer. Our 2nd summer using CheapHeat from RV Comfort Systems. The only thing we use propane for is to fry eggs.

Year round. Lots of long term winter visitors for ski season, as well as people who come up for a few days or a week. It's always surprising how many RVs are here in the extreme cold. My signature picture is from the winter 6 or 7 years ago.

Tiger Run is a great location if you like to RV and ski. They are not far from Breckenridge Ski Resort, which is huge, multipeak resort with lots for all ages. If you go during peak holidays, it's very crowded, and expensive. But I highly recommend it if you enjoy the slopes.

One of our favorite places. And now that Callie the rally dog lives there, we will go more often, I'm sure!!IMG_0166.jpg

Be sure to take your wallet; rates for 2017 range from $95.00 to $110.00 per night, at peak season, depending on the level of site chosen. The rates are expected to go up for 2018. They offer a weekly rate with 10% off the total bill. They don't offer a monthly rate.

Yep, not cheap...but one of the very best I have ever stayed at and not any other choices in the area if you want to stay. You can stay down the south side of the mountains about 50-70 miles, but for a great trip in an awesome setting- this is hard to beat
