We will be arriving in the fabulous Tri-Cities of Washington on May 7 to prepare for the annual Washington Chapter Rally. There will be an unofficial gathering on Wednesday evening for those who are arriving early. Once again, Doris will host Progressive Trivia which will run Thursday thru Sunday with fabulous prizes awarded on the final day. See the agenda below for more details on all the activities that are planned. Be sure to check your welcome bag for lots of information on things to do and see in the Tri-Cities area. The Hanford B Reactor at the Manhattan Project National Historic Park may be the most unique site for HOC rally attendees to visit! There are scores of wineries in the area, as well. Check out www.VisitTRI-CITIES.com for more information.

GOLF:
For those interested, we have reservations for a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start on Friday at Canyon Lakes Golf Course. The cost is $70 including cart and range balls. Those that have indicated an interest are: PAUL and CANDY HARDT, DAN SULLIVAN, SONJA NISSON, JULIE ROGERS, MIKE BROMLEY, LEE LIMPACH, TOM CHINN and DOUG ANDERSON. We have room for a few more players! This will be a fun time and open to players of all skill levels! If you are interested in playing, please let Doug Anderson know ASAP and for those indicated above, please confirm whether you plan to play, or not.

RV WASH:
Arrangements have been made with 1st Priority Detail to wash and dry rigs on-site Friday afternoon and all day on Saturday. They are offering a $10 discount off their normal $150 fee (for any length) which includes roof cleaning. If you don’t need your roof washed, it’s $25 less. Trucks are $35 which includes inside detailing. Please call Frank Prior at 509-531-3589 to get scheduled. There are a limited number of rigs they will be able to accommodate.

HANFORD B REACTOR TOUR: The B Reactor, a National Historic Mechanical Engineering Landmark, is the world’s first production-scale nuclear reactor and an integral part of the Manhattan Project National Historical Park. The Manhattan Project was a top-secret program during WWII to develop an atomic bomb. We have reserved 20 spaces with the National Park Service to tour the B Reactor on Saturday at 11:45 am. The tour is free and takes 4 hours. If you are interested in participating in the tour, please let us know ASAP with the names of participants and a phone number as we have to provide the names and phone numbers of those on the tour to the NPS.

Lorraine and I will be there, we made today, March 11, 2018, the reservations for May 10 thru May 15. (Doug Doris....we are editing this post to confirm we will be there; though we cancelled sometime earlier) (Second Edit: Extended the stay one extra day and departing on 15th)

Washington Chapter Rally; We will be meandering our way up to the Rally with Chuck and Donna Impey. Starting off in Sacramento, CA on May 6th and heading via Weed to Hwy 97 thru Bend for a three nights and then to Rally by May 10th. (Note I have not driven this route before) Any recommendation on Route, where to stay in route, and what to see around the Bend Area. Also when we get to Kennewick, what daytime trips and sights we can see? If you are taking the same route, maybe we can meet up with you and Caravan into Kennewick. Thank You for any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Tom

Posting through my phone. Can't set up attendee list until I have good WiFi for the laptop. So far, we have 19 families planning to attend. We were going to reserve 25 sites. Now, we will bump it to 30 if we can. We're pretty excited to have so much interest even before we have any details but the dates.
