UDC access covers..........

I have searched, checked D&W, and part sites for the screw on covers for the bottom access to the UDC. One is MIA and the other is stuck in place and cracking from attempts to remove it........The hole is 5" dia....If any one has seen the replacement part(s) I would sure like to know......

The same covers are mainly used in the marine industry as access panels in boats. I had 6 or 7 of them around the boat, and West Marine and similar places should have them. I'm not sure if just the door is available without the ring. I believe they're called screw-in deck plates.

You will probably have to get them from Heartland Parts. Have your vin handy when you call them and if that dont work check with the local Heartland dealer. In the meantime I would tape it over with duct tape (the McGyver fix) until you get the replacement cover to keep bugs and varmits out.
