Ladder Hole Repair

I have a 3010re and hung some bikes on my ladder and it severely bent the ladder as well as my lower bracket already cracking. Since I have no faith in the ladder and don't want to replace it just for looks I have taken it off and will be buying a telescoping one. I was looking for suggestions on what to use to fill the holes and try to make them disappear! Also I need to patch the roof holes. Right now simple caulking comes to mind but would like suggestions. I would like to keep it looking clean!!

How about this:
1. Buy some aluminum diamond plate
2. Cut out small rectangles an inch wider than the holes in the RV
3. Clip the corners at a 45 degree angle
4. Drill a screw hole on the left and right side of the rectangles
5. Paint (or not) to match the RV
6. Buy and paint (or not) stainless steel screws to match the RV
7. Add butyl tape the the backs of each rectangle
8. Stick each rectangle over the holes in the RV
9. Drill pilot holes through the screw holes in the plates, into the cap
10. Add screws

I actually want to hide the holes not cover them-I appreciate the info though. Gonna see if I can find some plastic caps with thin stems I can caulk and shove in there.

The white plastic push in caps will still be fairly obvious. (From personal experience). You can get gel coat repair from marine supply house that will do a pretty good job, but in the end will still be visible, but a lot less than the plastic caps...
