How do trailer manufactures determine the year model of a new unit?

Most car manufactures can build a vehicle in the 8th month of the year and deem it the following year model.

example: manufacture date of 08/2016 is a 2017 year model.

what rule of thumb do RV manufactures use?

I don't have an answer for your question but we ordered our BH at the end of March took delivery the end of May and it is list as a 2018 model.

Thanks Kbvols. I'm noticed my manufacture date was 03/16 but sold as a 2017. Maybe there isn't a rule of thumb or industry standard. Just curious.

Our BH3575el is similar in build date and model year. Chris

If I remember correctly, the 10th digit of your vin signifies the year model. You will need to google vins to get the code for that specific digit.

You need this table to convert it to the year. Ours is a 10th number/letter H. H=2017
