B&W Hitch Question

During the past month my B&W Fifth Wheel Companion has developed a pop or thump when stopping but we do not get the same noise on start-up. It does not have to be a hard stop at all.

I have watched while DW drives and stops and it seem to come from the horizontal pin that allows the table to pivot side to side.

Any B&W owners experience the same thing. May be normal....Everything is torqued to spec.

Mine has been great so far. I only have about 2000 miles on it though. I would call B&W. I have used their gooseneck products for a long time they have always been very helpful.

Have you greased the grease zerk under the pivoit? Remove the fifth wheel plate from the base and flip it over, there is a grease zerk that needs greased every so often.
