Just finalized our purchase of a Mallard M33 yesterday. Can't wait to pick it up from CW and get out and camp with it soon!

Hi travsmit,

Congratulations on the new Mallard and welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum. We've got a great bunch of friendly and helpful people here, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask here. We also have a number of owner-written user guides you may find helpful. You can find them by clicking on the TOOLS tab near top of page and selecting HUG - Heartland User Guides, or by clicking this link.

Also, check out the Heartland Owners Club and the EVENTS tab at top of page to see upcoming rallies near you. It's a great way to make friends and have a good time.

congrats on your purchase and welcome to the forum. This site is amazing for any HL owner. Great people and knowledge to be found here. Check out the HOC and plan on attending some of the rallies where you can begin to put faces to the names of the people you meet on the site. Again, congrats on your new Mallard and hope to meet you down the road. Safe travels.

Congrats on the new RV....

You can download my Pre-Delivery Inspection document, by clicking on the link in my signature below. If this is your first RV, you might consider looking over our "Recommended Gear" page as well. Might be helpful in preparing your RV for great trips!

This document will take you about 4 hours to complete (don't rush it) and will ensure you understand all the operations of the trailer as well as having you inspect the trailer. This will help you find all sorts of "gotcha" stuff that might not pop up until later down the road (ie...when your 100's of miles from an RV shop). No matter what the dealer says, their PDI will never cover everything.

Complete this PDI and get dealer to fix all issue before paying for trailer...that way the dealer is very motivated to finish.
