Newbie Curtain question

We have just purchased a 2018 Pioneer 270BH. This is our first RV. I have two questions....Have any of you changed out the slatted blinds in the bunks with similar shades that are in the rest of the camper? I am not keen on having loose cords directly next to where my girls will be sleeping. Also have you installed the "privacy curtains" for the bunks like the Jayco models have?
