Splendide Stacked w/d installation

We want to install the Splendie Ariston w/d in our Landmark Augusta. It is pre-plumbed in the closet, and although we can get the 2 units into the bedroom by removing the bathroom molding, we can not figure out how to get the units stacked in the closet.
We have measured countless times!!!!!! The lower washer can be placed into the closet by sliding it over from the double door closet, BUT the dryer cannot be placed on top of the washer because the remaining shelf in the large closet blocks it and the cabinets over the dresser block its way if you go in from the exterior. Granted it's only off by an inch or so, but in this case an inch may as well be a mile. If it won't fit, it won't fit. How does one get them in without ripping out the cabinets or having to pull down the entire shelf across the large closet??? Must I get a combo unit instead??:(:(:(
Any advice will be appreciated,

Maybe try dryer in first and lift it to the top, and hold it there while you slide the washer in under the dryer. Just a thought:rolleyes:

It can be done! We have an Augusta and had to take the dryer out for a belt repair. You need to slide it on its back and tip it up. Its a two person job. Good luck.

Here is something extra you should do. Between the closet and dresser there is a little step up against the wall. This covers the drain pipe from the W/D. Our Augusta came with the W/D installed and the first time we used it we got flooded. Somebody forgot to connect the drain pipes that meet under the step. Four screws through the rug hold it in place. Very easy to remove and inspect the fitting.

Is your dealer close by or is there a Camping World close to you? The dealer should be able to tell you how the stackables are installed. Our dealer installed ours so we don't know what they had to do to make it work. We did find that they had not used the stabilizer kit that is supposed to be used on the stackables. We had them install two L brackets on the side of the dryer and attached to the shelf of the clothes closet. There is still a lot of motion when the washer spins but as long as the nose cap doesn't fall off, not going to worry about it.

Best wishes for getting your installation questions answered.
