Welcome Home Light on Bighorn 3875

On my 2014 Bighorn when you open the door, the welcome home light comes on like its supposed to. However, a couple seconds later the light comes back on real dim and flickers. The welcome home light is also tied to the door entry switch, and when I turn the entry switch on the light works like its supposed too. When I turn the entry switch off the light goes out, then a couple seconds later it comes back on really dim and flickers. I am struggling finding out what is going on. Anyone have this issue? To make the welcome home light work is it on a sensor? I don't see any type of switch on the door that activates the welcome home light

The sensor is a KIB DTM904-2. The switch under the door is a magnetic reed switch that closes when the door opens, providing a ground to the KIB module. When that happens, the module applies 12V to the light. After 30 sec to 3 minutes it's supposed to cut power turning the light off.

Sounds likek maybe the module might be leaking a little current to the lamp.
