Roof Repair Question

So after a long winter, finally got a chance to uncover the ElkRidge. Did a roof inspection and noticed that there was a screw starting to back out under the membrane. It has not poke through but I want to do some preventative maintenance. Anyone know the best way to reseat the screw and repair? I’m guessing I will need to make a small cut in that area, reseat the screw and then repair of the roof membrane.

Anyone else ever run into this?

Jamie, I think you're on the right track. Make a small slit in the roof to allow the repair, then seal the roof membrane with a small piece of Eternabond tape. Properly applied, it should last a long time.

Jamie, I've got Eternabond patches that have been on for 7 years and still holding strong.
After you've made the slit that Jay suggested be sure to put a small dab of caulk on the screw before putting it back in place. This should prevent it from backing out again.

Peace
Dave
