Power Awning Concern

I have a one month old 2009 Sundance 3200ES fifth wheel. When I open my entrance door it rubs on the underside of my power awning which is fully extended. The dealers response is to install a small wheel on the top or the door. I feel this will through time leave a mark on my awning and it will eventually cause the awning to wear in that area. Respond please!:(

How did you get a power awning? It is not an option on a Sundance according to the Heartland website. Either way, it sounds as if it was incorrectly mounted. And you are right, that little wheel that they want to install will absolutely leave a mark on your awing over time. I would seriously consider having them remount that awning correctly at no cost to you.

Good Luck,
Mark
