All sites are 55 feet long and you are allowed 2 vehicles per site. There is a 48 hr cancellation time limit on the sites or you will be charged. Hi all~ Sorry,,, Yet another pet emergency and a wedding in Phoenix last weekend. Roy and I will be there. We like Pechanga! Thanks to everyone for doing the research. Who would have thought there'd be that much trouble trying to put together a weekend?? Seesh!

Hmmm,, wonder if I can get off work early to watch Larry park????? ;)

Pot luck on Saturday night?

Here's the correct phone number 1-877-997-8386. I'm in spot B-17.

09-24-2008, 09:51 PM
Hi Dena and Roy, glad you can make. It's been awhile since we have seen y'all. Well Dennis, all I can say is the number I posted is the number I called today. Maybe the tribe had a new number installed after they found out that Larry was coming. And just to make it real plain, the sites "ARE NOT" set aside for our group. It's still first come, first serve. Dennis, how appropriate that you got B-17, since you work on aircraft. Bob:D:D:eek:

09-27-2008, 01:02 PM
Roy and I are going to off work early on Friday. Want to head out before the I-5 North bound gets totally clogged up,,, which happens FAST on Friday afternoons. Can't wait to see you all hear about all the summer trips! hope everyone brings their pictures.

09-27-2008, 07:21 PM
Hi Dena, great that you guys can come. Just a thought, you might want to change your site, cause you may be 2 rows away, I think. See if you can get it changed to the B row. Bob:D:D:eek:

09-27-2008, 07:23 PM
OK guys, we now have 4 of the old gang together. Where are the rest of you and some of the new Socal group???? Bob:D

09-27-2008, 07:39 PM
Hey guys were in B 19 looking forward to meeting all,

09-27-2008, 07:51 PM
Hey Sandman, thanks for coming. Larry called me from LV and I got to talk to the whole gang that is there. Sounds like they are having a great time. I talked to J.B. (Jim Beletti) for a couple of minutes, he can't make this rally but sends his best to everyone. Well now. things are looking up. Bob:D:D:eek:

09-30-2008, 12:19 PM
Hi Gang,
We had a great time at the Nevada rally this weekend and met alot of nice people, besides seeing some of the socal group again as well. We had a nice talk with cheap Bob, (Forrest is very disappointed he didn't get to see the old man who claimed poverty as his reason for not attending LOL), and the potluck had over 20 people congregated at Debbi and my site. Sorry I couldn't put on a parking show as we arrived safely and parked without any problem (pull thru). Other than being so hot you could fry an egg on DennisZ's head, we had a ball, and found out we have some hot kareoke singers including my Debbi and Sue. JimBo chickened out as he was afraid he might scare everyone with his voice, but Karen and Forrest put on a great show and we thank them very much for their hospitality.

See you all in Pechanga. We are going to the NoCal Rally first to meet those folks and then coming back south after a stop in the wine country rv resort on our way to the socal rally. Deb and I look forward to seeing everyone. This is getting to be fun.

After hearing about everyone elses crashes and parking problems, could we all please put the larry jokes to rest? On our summer 32 day trip I had no accidents and parked my rig many times safely, albeit I just like pull thrus. Is that a sin? My DW would appreciate it, although I can give back as much as I take!

09-30-2008, 12:24 PM
Hi Larry, glad you and all the gang had a good time. Glad you mentioned a "pot luck" dinner. For those of you that are signed up for Oct. 18th, we need to start posting what we are going to bring. Bob:D:D:eek:

09-30-2008, 10:12 PM
Larry, if we didn't like you we would not tease you. If it will make you happy, I will take the pull thru and you can have the back-in site. You have to admit and even Debbi has to, that your a funny little guy. Bob:D:D:eek:

10-01-2008, 10:54 PM
Mrs. Sandman here, what type of food does everyone usually bring for the potluck? I would love to bring something but dont know if we are supposed to bring a main dish or a side dish?:confused:

10-01-2008, 11:34 PM
Hello Mrs. Sandman, well sometimes everybody brings a salad or a dessert and there own main dish. This why we throw this out for discussion. Last time Dennis made his ribs, Patty made a meatball dish and lasagna(?) , so it just depends. So make what you comfortable with and post it. We will figure it all out. No one has ever been hungry after the pot luck. Bob:D

10-01-2008, 11:46 PM
Well, Bob I guess I could change my user name to "funny little guy", nah, keep it up Cranky Bobster, I will just trip you, and tickle you with your cane when I see you in Pechanga.
Sandman family, at our potlucks someone brings salad, or a casserole, or chili and beans, or a tri tip (DennisZ), veggies or veggie dip, deviled hard boiled eggs, or desert, its your personal choice. If its a side dish, bring enough for everyone. Then we post what we are bringing so that everyone doesn't bring the same dish and on Saturday nite, we chow down together, usually at my site, as I have the tequila, whiskey, beer and good music. Anyway, its a great way to meet new people, and yap away. As an example, my DW and I are going for no particular reason to the NoCal rally, and then going for 3 days to the wine country rv resort with a couple, Kathy and Dave, we met at the LV Rally. Then on to Pechanga for a mighty fine time. Darn, retirement isn't too shabby.
Anyway, anybody else who lives somewhere on the West Coast come join us for the second 2008 SoCal Rally. Maybe we will strap Cranky Bob to a tree and throw darts at him for fun.LOL

10-02-2008, 11:11 AM
Thanks Larry for the stellar words. BTW, larry you need to paint the ends of 3 fingers so you don't forget, cause this is the 3rd Socal rally. It's really bad to get old and forgetfull:confused:. Anyway thanks for the advise on the pot luck and have a good time up north. Bob :D:D:eek:

10-02-2008, 04:26 PM
Hey everyone has anyone talked to pslincs they posted a while back they were going to come to the rally , but i havent heard any thing more so i was just checkin, and thanks for the pot luck info Bob & larry i will pass it on to my dw seeya.

10-02-2008, 05:17 PM

I have spoken to Shane (pslincs) as recently as yesterday by email. Send him an email (not PM) via the forum. I am sure he'll respond back quickly.

10-02-2008, 11:11 PM
Hey Larry, when did someone bring a desert to 1 of our rally's????? Dennis live's in the high desert, but I don't think he brought it with him. BOB:confused:

10-03-2008, 08:36 AM
Hey Guys, we would love to come, but we have had two separate funerals we are going to attending this month. So we won't be able to make it, but we will be looking forward to future chances to meet everyone! Have a great time!

10-03-2008, 05:34 PM
Shane, sorry to here about your losses. Just so you know there are quite a few of us that live close to you. So if you ever get a wild hair, just post, E-mail or PM some of us and maybe a little quicky outing for the weekend. Bob:D:D:eek:

10-03-2008, 10:04 PM
Bob, you are a great editor, as its true I have CRS, and yes we already have had 2 2008 socal rallys, in Anaheim and Vail Lake so this is the third of the year. Duh.... you are right for once.
My DW Debbi is making a spinach and vegetable dip inside Hawaiin bread, and some franks and beans for the potluck dinner. Bob, since you can spell dessert better than I, why don't you bring something sweet besides Patty?
Now that I have started it, what is everyone else bringing? Let's get going folks.

10-03-2008, 10:08 PM

We will haqve one SOB attending (Mike), he is in spot A18.

10-03-2008, 10:14 PM
Thanks Larry for you incouraging words. Debbi is a sweetheart and how about some ice cream. Think you could eat 2 gallons of it. Play your cards right and you could wear it. Thanks Dennis, that makes 6. Larry drive safe, and get your hitch looked at.

10-03-2008, 10:22 PM
Bob, incouraging? Try encouraging. And don't avoid the subject. What are you bringing besides your grouchy self?

10-04-2008, 12:05 AM
Geeee,,, you fokls from Ca are kinda funnie. Make fun of somebody that cant park a trailer easy, then talk about eatin icecream, and bringing desserts. And then your gonna hava SOB visit??? And,,, I am sorry to say.. but if some one is going to go to two funerals instead of coming to your rv rally... (I'm truley sorry for you loss), just how much fun can you guys be gonna have..

Dont youj computere guys kno what spel ccheck is???

10-04-2008, 10:20 AM
We're all just one big happy, disfunctional family, but we DO HAVE FUN, just like to poke each other, kind of ike siblings do. See you all there!

10-06-2008, 10:40 AM
JT, we just have fun. And I must say that Larry and Debbi are great people. Larry is just a little off center:confused: sometimes. Yes Larry you got me, so we are even now. Lar, have you found anything about your hitch placement??? Just doesn't seem right to me. Larry, you and Deb have a good trip up north. Bob:D

10-12-2008, 11:24 AM

Marty & Theresa

10-12-2008, 10:39 PM
Well gang, as of today the Socal rally will kick off in 5 days. Man am I ready to see some old friends amd meet some new ones. I washed the 5er today and she's ready to go. As for what we are going to bring, I know we will have some kind of dessert (not desert):p. But here's the deal, Pat has to work till 12 on saturday, SO, how about she pickup a couple of Costco pizza's on the way back to camp. Now the only question is, what do all you like on pizza??? You can put anything on mine( just no little dead fish). So if you can, let me know what kind of toppings to get. Marty, did you say cobbler??? OH BOY, sounds like we need some vanilla ice cream. Bob:D:D:eek:

10-12-2008, 11:00 PM

You can't go wrong with either the Combo or Pepperoni. I still don't know what I'll bring, but something...

I made a surprise visit to North Cal Rally yesterday. I found myself unexpectedly in the area, so I crashed the rally. It was a nice turnout, 1 Landmark and I think 14 Bighorns, and of course, Jim B.

See you guys all on Friday.

10-13-2008, 12:32 AM
Great to see you and Deb, Dennis. Attached is a pic of you and Teresa, our Central CA Chapter Leader. Proof of your rally crashing

Hope Deb is feeling better. Have fun at the SoCal rally with the gang.

This a FYI, for those of you that have camped at Pechanga. The road by the gas station is blocked off for constuction. So now as you come down Pechanga Prkway turn into the drive that takes you 2 the casino/hotel. Go to the end. Turn left and turn left again and right into the CG. OK, Got it??? If you read this in time and are lost. Call me at HM 951-699-0946 or after 1:30PM my cell 951-295-0168. Your Fearless Leader Bob:eek:

10-17-2008, 03:09 AM
Hi folks, my DW and I were also at the nocal/central rally as well, although as a rep of the socal family, I still don't know the difference between a wrench and a pliers. Although it was cold and windy during the day, and extremely cold at nite we still had a great time and I have some new rear JT Stabilizers that JimBo and Butch installed for me. They were all awesome, had a great raffle, most people brought an RV gift that everyone traded around. We ended up with a walking stick, so Bob you can borrow it if you need it. JimBo ended up with a coffee cup with a pic of a Yorkshire Terrier and some dog biscuits, (I hope he doesn't eat them himself as he does have a varacious appetite)LOL They had a Halloween theme and some person brought melamine haloween commemorative dishes for the Sunday nite potluck dinner. Then JimBo gave a great rah rah Heartland speech, some cool SOB named John took some group pics and we finally took off for 3 days at the wine country resort. What a hangover! 1000 miles so far on this trip and no mishaps except for a vandalized ladder.

We are now in our Pechanga camping site C-17 and the only open sites were in the A and B rows nearby. Very nice campground. FYI, if you are coming off the I-15 or from the other direction on the same street as Pechanga Casino, turn on Casino Drive into the main casino entrance, go to the end, and turn left to the campground registration. That is the latest construction update. Any questions call me at 949 306 2360. Day weather very warm, nite time very comfortable and cool.
Whatever pizza is brought one cheese and maybe mushrooms and onions would be appreciated. I think Deb is skipping the spinach dip to make a cheese pie with raspberry jam toppingthat is extremely yummy.
Cya all manana.

10-17-2008, 07:32 AM
...JimBo ended up with a coffee cup with a pic of a Yorkshire Terrier and some dog biscuits, (I hope he doesn't eat them himself as he does have a varacious appetite)LOL...

Dog biscuits! The dogs ate some reluctantly. They smelled like people biscuits. At least that's what I told Nancy. Then she ate one. :D Seriously.
