Lin & I are interested. We have quite a bit planned for 2009 already but the U.P. isn't far from home so I'll pencil it in but we'll have to play it by ear.

Rich, Dave and I were planning to go back to St. Ignace next year. We now have two reasons to go. Sign us up, we're packed. We will be happy to see you again. None

Of the remaining nine sites two are back-in, where your back window faces Lake Michigan. They are sties 114 and 115. The others are pull-through. We are on the end in 221 and Chris will start filling in with 220 and work backwards to 214.

If anyone wants to go to Mackinaw Island or the Casino you can call for the shuttle van to pick you up at the park. If you are taking your bicycle, they will pick that up also.

We are planning a pot luck dinner. Lakeshore Park will furnish their large white tents for us to use.

I will send out a map and include where things are in town, such as grocery, fuel, Post Office, barber and beauty shop. Vet, Etc. If you need to know about a specific place or service, let me know and I will find out about it for you.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone in Goshen and then on the UP of Michigan next year.

Just made our reservation. It's a long trip.......right. But we have never been to a rally so what the heck. We could be home in less than an hour if we hate it.
We will arrive on the 27th and have site 114.
If anyone is a fisherman, the salmon fishing is pretty good in late August and there are a few charter captains in the area.
Looking forward to this .

Hello All, If anybody is interested I did some research on the Straits area fishing charter, the 2008 season prices were, for 6 persons per boat $525.00 per group,for 5 people per boat $475.00 per group, and for 4 people per boat $425.00 per group thats is for a half day. Mich res.and non res.fishing license is $8.00 for a daily license
If any one is interested in doing a fishing charter P M me or e-mail me .If enough interest will do more research and come up with 2009 prices the charter owner stated prices depend on fuel cost. Thanks TRAVELER07 [Rick]

Rick, you gotta be kidding. The rally is 10 months off and you are already worrying about what to bring for the potluck at this time.

Me, I'm still hoping that I survive my fourth round-trip to Lakeland FL. Once that has finished, I will worry more about late summer '09.

Chuck the reason that I'm starting is because I'm doing two rallys this year,and also I will be work camping in Az and N Mexico and will not be back to Mich until late July or early Aug , also in the mountains we were told that there is no cell phone coverage and we have to use land line phone cards,dont know if our inter net air card will work from there,either. Don't want to wait until last minute. TRAVELER

Linda and I will be coming in on Wednesday, August 26. We have made reservations with Chris at Lakeshore but she did not give us what lot but it will be across the street. The way it is snowing here in Michigan today, we are hoping it will be gone by August!! We recieved 6'' this morning.

Just trying to get the rallies in this year since next year we will bee heading for Alaska, May to September. How about a luncheon in Alaska with a little midnight golf for June 2010.

Glad to hear Nancy will be with you in Houston. Maybe you can get her a co pilot job with HL. See you in Houston.
