Battery Cable Gauge Size?

Does anyone know what gauge battery cable Heartland uses to connect the two house batteries together when used for a residential refrigerator? All that I found at O'Riley's was 4 Ga and that just does not seem heavy enough.

I'm not sure George, but you're right. Four won't do it. It might be 1 or even bigger.

Look at the current draw of the inverter and match it to the wire size. Most likely 2/0 or 3/0 is what you will need.
