You are lucky that you did not spray your units surface or decals..Musquito spray or bug sprays WILL mar the surface,don’t ask how I know,, happened on my last SOB unit.
I just had the skirts on unit replaced under warranty. They said the plastic fender skirts were list price around $200 for the set. I'd bet if you scuffed those pieces up and just painted them, they would look acceptable.
