Please take good pictures of this, inside and outside (or wherever crack is visible) and email pictures along with your VIN and contact info to service@heartlandrvs.com

Time to repair is usually going to depend on how busy the repair shop is when you bring it in. It may only take a few days to do repairs like this, if work starts without delay. You may have to find an independent repair shop and ask Heartland to authorize them for warranty work. Dealers are quite often so busy that instead of days, they can take months, most of that time with your trailer sitting on their lot.

Dane is right......the question is not how long will it take them to fix it.......it's when can they even start on it......both our dealer and Heartland could not even look at ours till next year....thankfully they recommended an independent authorized service company that was able to get us in, just a few days later.

When we talked to Heartland they are sending us to Affinity RV Group for our repairs. We are scheduled for December 3rd for the work.

Had some work doe at Affinity RV Group today. They were able to get most things fixed and had to order a couple parts. We plan on going back in 2 or 3 weeks to finish up.

Got nothing but good things to say about them.

Keep us updated on the repairs. We plan on going the week after Thanksgiving when we come back from Pigeon Forge.

Got appointment 12/1 to drop off RW 427. Motorhome specialist south of fort worth tx to do repairs. Their guess at time is 6-8 weeks. Have unloaded everything from trailer and will deliver there Saturday and then set back and wait for my home to be returned to me.😤

That has to be a real pain.....can't imagine having to be out of our for a few days, much less weeks...….why such a long duration.....surely they will not be working on it consistently for 6-8 weeks. What prevents them from checking the issues, ordering the parts and letting you bring it in when they are ready to repair it?

I think it's so you burn threw the rest of your warranty. Then you won't be a problem any more..

We got our 427 back from Affinity RV last Friday. They fixed the soft spot, pressurize tested the water system, and they said it was good to go.
Funny thing happened, while we were putting the power cord in the power reel went out. Now we need to repair this little issue. Called Heartland and found out it is a TRC cord reel. So called TRC and talked to tech support (Steve) and he was real helpful and told me what I had to do to fix the reel.
Only problem we have 12" of snow on the ground right now so it will need to wait for repairs.

Keep us posted on your progress. Will the repairs be done at the factory or somewhere else?

Heartland picked up my RW427 today here in Texas. Appointment date April 29 hope to have it back by mid May.
Got email from heartland. Then they received my trailer the spring hangers were broken, frame flange bent and tires would need to be replaced. This work would need to be done before repairs to crack in side. Then said I would be responsible for repair cost because the tires have run marks on side of tires ware a curb was hit. Transport company said it was that way when picked up and had pictures to prove it. When picked up,wife and I walked around with the driver and he took NO pictures. I made that clear that I had pictures before he left with it, the transport company quickly backed off there stand and took response ability for damage and pay for tires and heartland would repair the rest. If you are having them transport yours to heartland take a video of everything before leaving with it. I have to say heartland has been very good about taking care of these repairs, slow but good.

If the company hit a curb hard enough to snap axle hangers and you already have frame flex I would insist on replacing the unit completely with the insurance company and charging the transport company for part. You more than likely have significant frame damage and twisting of everything that may not show up until years later and you have no recourse. Trust me. I know all too well the problems of frame damage and what shows up later.
