Winterizing Mallard M33-Where is the Antifreeze Siphon Tube?

Good evening! We are new RV owners with our Mallard M33. We are winterizing it and cannot find the siphon tube for the antifreeze. Is it done differently on this model? We looked at the winterization guide (HUG) and I don't think it applies to our model. Thank you for your help!

Hi tomsgirlheidi,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum. There are many, many models and floor plans, so the location of the water pump and antifreeze suction tube can vary. But there are likely other M33 owners who have been there and can point you in the right direction.

If you've already located the water pump, trace the tubing on the suction side (where the clear bowl is mounted). The suction tube will be teed into that line.

The siphon tube on a 2017 M33 is located on the water pump on the left side of the kitchen sink island. Before you siphon the anti-freeze, be sure to bypass your water heater. On the 2017, you only need a "square" bit screwdriver to access both the water pump and the water heater bypass lines.
