Our 2019 Southern California Rally will be held at the beautiful new Cava Robles RV Resort, this coming October.
To secure this Resort, they are requiring a deposit to lock us in. They are offering us a group discount, 25% off for 25 rigs and over, 20% for 20 rigs and over. We would all prefer the larger discount, so lets go camping!
Here is the breakdown;
12 Deluxe Sites at $256.00 for the four nights.
18 Premium Sites at $325.50 for the four nights.

12:00 Noon – Tamale class. Come learn how to make Tamales @ The Grand Oaks Community Center.
5:30 PM – Dinner @ The Grand Oaks Community Center. Main Dish is the Tamales we made! Mexican Theme Potluck. Sign up sheet available at registration.
After Dinner – Raffle! Bring an unwrapped gift with a value of $15 - $20. Raffle tickets will be for sale.

Hello Bill. Please count us in (Earl and Susan Gately). This will be our second rally, the first having been a few years ago at Pechanga. We can only do two of the four days. We would arrive Friday evening and depart Sunday morning. I hate that we will miss some great activities, but that is what happens when one is still a working stiff. We don't need anything fancy, so a lesser site would be fine for us. Please send me a PM on the total and where to send it to. Also, we do have dogs, so what is the doggie policy and are there additional charges for pets. I do see three dog parks on their map, so that makes us happy.

Pickleball at Paso Robles!

Is anyone interested in playing or learning how to play pickleball during the rally?

There is a venue a couple miles from the RV park to play in the mornings. On Thursday morning there is beginner lessons for anyone wanting to learn how. They have loaner paddles for use.

Leslie and I will be playing several of the mornings. If there is an area at the RV park to play, we will bring a portable net and can set up some games there.

Fred, I would be interested. Not sure how much I can participate, having pain issues with one of my feet. But I'm willing to give it a try :) Also, depends on how early in the morning LOL

PB starts at 8am every morning and goes till 11:30. It's at Centennial Park about 3 miles away. The cost is $3 a session. If we can find a location at Cava Robles we will set up a court and play there. Should be fun!

We were looking forward to this rally after such a great time in Jackson. But I’m sure some have heard that Linda fell and broke her leg last Sunday. She had surgery that evening and is on the mend but will be fairly immobile for about 8 weeks. Once she can travel we’ll be back in Tucson for the winter at our spot in the Voyager Resort. I know we’ll see some of y’all over the winter in AZ and if you’re passing thru please give us a holler!

We have tickets! Looking forward to it. If I understand correctly we can make ourselves comfortable at the top and just watch the sunset. I hope I understood that correctly otherwise if it’s just for one hour then we may have to leave before it gets completely dark.
