427 garage carpet

I didn't care for how our 427 didn't have a piece of carpet that covered the entire floor surface area like our T32 did. I picked up a piece of 12x8 carpet from Home Depot with bound edges. I took a bunch of measurements and transferred them to the carpet. Measure twice and cut once. The carpet dropped right into place. Now I'll look into taking the carpet to have the cut edges bound again.

Wow! Very nice work. After you get the edges bound, that's going to be awesome. You could even use Velcro at the carpet perimeter at intervals to hold it down.

And you can take the carpet out and shampoo it on a plastic covered driveway, let it dry and replace.

Mike, when I ordered the Cyclone I ordered the carpet.
When I picked it it was the wrong one, good thing I checked before leaving Elkhart.
Got the right one, made sure it fit and headed home.
Tried it out again when home to see how the dogs liked it.

Rolled it up, put it in the attic and that is where it stayed for the next 9 years 🤔

Did the guy who bought your trailer make it out of the hills ok?

Yes he made it home to Indiana.

With the T32 I would roll the carpet up half way and it would act as a buffer on the floor to keep anything away from my saddlebags. The new bike sits higher so this will be less of an issue.
