Ice cube tray

Can the tray that forms the ice cubes be removed to clean. I ran antifreeze thru ice maker. I know. But that's the directions I was given by tech at heartland. 😡👍

I haven't looked at newer refrigerators, but older ones, the icemaker unit was usually removed pretty easily: a couple of mounting screws and a single plug. Once out you could probably clean everything easily.

I'm thinking run a few trays of ice through it. When the container is full dump it.
