Bedroom slide out found at storage halfway out

Supposedly had this issue fixed a year ago by getting the air out of the hydraulic lines at Service Dept. Only to find the same problem again today. The bedroom slide out is half way out again on it's own. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Libby,

Your profile doesn't include any information about your RV and you didn't include any here, so I'm guessing you must have a Landmark with a hydraulic bedroom slide operated by a separate switch.

If that's correct, you may have a problem with the valve that controls operation of the slide. Or the setscrew control on the valve might not be completely closed when it's at rest. When the valve is partially open, fluid moves allowing unwanted movement of the slide.

It's also possible that there's a problem with the hydraulic cylinder that drives the slide. The seals could be allowing fluid to pass when it's not supposed to.

There is diagnostic information in this manual. You may have to print it out and meet with the service tech.
