Tank noise

First time having this happen last night. Was up in the bedroom of our 2016 Big Horn 3270 and heard this noise of popping going from one side to the other side. Went out and opened the off door side for the propane bottle and heard the tank making this noise then heard the other side. Decided to close off both tanks and it stopped. One tank is 25% and the other is 100%. What could it be??

This is perfectly normal when the pressure relief valve is doing what it is supposed to do. When the pressure inside the tank is higher than the pressure on the spring, the valve will open with a loud pop and excessive propane gas is released through the opening. This is according to our good friend, Google.
