Replacing LP tanks on Landmark

My propane tanks hit the 10 year mark in 2020. Was unable to find someone local to re-certify so I purchased new. Looking for suggestions on how to dispose of old tanks. Thanks!

I set an old lp tank at the end of my driveway and the scrappers took it.

My Lp gas company here in my home town will take your out of date bottles and dispose of them for free. Check with a local Lp gas company, not an exchange company like box stores.
