We are heading out for the first time this winter in our 2009 Bighorn, travelling from Alberta to Mesa, Arizona. We would appreciate any tips regarding travelling in the winter, places to camp, procedures to follow i.e. heating etc. Thanks.

One thing to remember is your furnace helps to heat your basement. So be sure to use your furnace in below freezing weather and not just and electric heater. Also watch out for icy roads and watch the weather channel and local weather.

Don't forget to keep some water in your fresh water tank. Spigots or pipes may be frozen wherever you stop for the night.
