Volunteer

Just wanted to see how many RVers volunteer when they are on the road?

There are so many animal rescues and sanctuaries that could use a couple of hands here and there. It is a good way to help while you are seeing the country.

There are some places that will even let you set up camp there while you volunteer so a good way to make it from state to state if you are on a budget.

There are also many animals that need transport - another way to help - some legs can be as short as an hours drive -- others across country.

If you can help I encourage you to do so -- volunteering with animals is one of the greatest joys I have ever known.

We can use this thread to link to places we know need help or resources for the RV volunteer.

Sue and I are usually involved in some type of volunteer activity, but have never done anything with animals, other than our own. That is a great idea and one to consider.
