Is at the Dulles Expo Center next weekend (Jan 16-18). Last year they filled both buildings. It'll be interesting if they do so again this year. It'll be close getting everyone out before the inauguration madhouse begins!

We are getting out of here this weekend. They are closing the highways down around our house. It going to be crazy.

Man, they were showing some of the security measures they are taking...there is gonna be at least four days when some businesses are gonna really be hurting.

I was in NYC during the rededication of the statue of liberty....went up to the roof to do some adjustments on my main satellite uplink...and ran into some irate guy with sun glasses....talking to his watch...and holding a uzi on me. I'm dead serious here...the secret service had one man on the roof of every building in NYC tht was over so many stories high ffor something like 3 or 4 miles around the old girl. He escorted me back to my office...holding the gun on me the entire time. I got to talk to more guys with sunglasses for about an hour....

They did it for five days..then kept people on the roofs for two days AFTER the event.

Have you thought about New Mexico? Ah, Nevermind they closed the highway around Las Cruces when Bush came there. And, those guys were carrying shoulder fired missiles.

I just got back from New Mexico and I am trying to figure out how to get back more often and/or be on the road full time. Work always gets in the way.

Here is the show's link: 23rd Annual Washington Camping RV Expo.

A click on the Brand List link (upper Right quick links) shows that Heartland will be represented by Leo's Vacation Center & RV Outlet USA; the following lines are scheduled to be on display:

Big Country FW
Big Horn FW
Cyclone Toy Hauler
Landmark FW
North Country TT
Sundance TT
Sundance FW

I'll be arriving from the West so hopefully I'll avoid all the hoopla.

Maybe we'll see you there on Saturday.

We're planning on being there Saturday. I'll be the 6' tall, 250 lb, balding in the back guy. Probably with a brown leather jacket (wait - that probably describes half the people there:D.) I'll be with my 5'2" wife. If you see a couple close to that description ask if it's us! We'll probably be oogaling the $350,000 Class A's a lot.

Hate to say it but I'll do better looking for your truck but with my luck you won't drive it that day!

First year we went to this show I made the mistake of taking the dually! DC folks only drive SMART car-sized vehicles judging by the parking slots.

I'll probably fly solo as Momma says she has to work...I think it has something to do with strollers in confined spaces!!

I'll look for the balding guy in brown jacket leaning on the 2008 F250 KR...Wait for me and don't move, okay!! :D

It's gonna be cold Saturday! If I lean on the truck too long, I'll be frozen to it:D. BTW - I'm retired Army also.

Looks like we will be in Centreville VA for birth of our 5th grandchild this weekend. Since we will be responsible for care of 2 grandsons, why not spend the day at the RV show and join the crowds. I will be on the lookout for aging, bald, slightly overweight retired army grunts all with beautiful wives. That's easy! Oh, I'm 6', 235 lbs, silver hair that is starting to thin in front, also former Army, with a 5'4" wife and 2 grandsons, 3 yrs and 5 yrs old. This is starting to sound like the FBI most wanted poster. Leaving the Dodge Ram at home for better fuel mileage in my Volvo.

Ditto on the fuel mileage. We'll be driving the Red Prius (Our driveway is an oxymoron - Prius and F-250, side-by-side:rolleyes:).

Just got back from the show. Attendance may have been down a little, but certainly not much. We spent a lot of time in a Landmark Augusta. Now I need for the weather to warm up so the money tree in the back yard will start producing.

We went yesterday morning and were ogling over the Cyclone 3950 that RV Outlet USA brought.

Why is it they never have accessories for those of us that already have trailers.

Boat to 5er, I looked but never found you with my wife! LOL
