AH yes, those were the days. What happened to them? But I still have my Erector set, my Lionel train and my memories. Bob:D

Thank you so much for the nostalgic ride. What Fun.

I remember---------------

Lincoln Logs, my grandkids love to play with them.
Penny candy.
The TV show TOPPER.
Halloween, eating home-made treats from people I didn't even know.
Western movies where there was no blood shown.
Don't remember locking up our house and car @ nighttime.
Sure do miss the Drive-In movies. I think there are still a few left.
Black & White TV and no remotes.

Don't remember-----------

listening to radio programs.

I am a baby-boomber and ofcourse loved my music. But the best music I have ever heard is the music that my parents listened to. The music of the 40's. Just Great.

Thanks for the sentimental ride.

we are dating our selfs

those were the good days when live was easier, (not stressed out) to enjoy and all the memorys.
THANKS

to day the kids are overweight, spoiled(they want everything), don't know what a hard days work is all about, sit for hours playing on computer games or tv games, etc
At some of the schools I worked in, the teachers had to show the kids how to play GAMES outside as they were clueless, and some thought they were stupid games. Some don't own bikes as mom and dad drive them everywhere, even to school, when they live only a few blocks away.
NO wonder they are some many FAT kids today.

I still have the first girl that I ever kissed and that was in 1956. Still dancing and kissing.
