Retrofit Kit for A&E Electric 9100 Awnings

On RV.net I discovered a thread which says that Dometic will provide a free Retrofit Kit for the Electric A&E 9100 Awning which will enable the awning to dump rain water.

I contacted Dometic and they confirmed this but said that they would only distribute the Retrofit Kit to Dometic Dealers. According to the thread on RV.net it only takes 5 minutes to install it, but it does require two people.

Does anybody have any experience with these kits?

I have one but havn't had the time to put it on yet.Its free and they only send it to dealers JON
