New Coverage Map Tool (thanks linuxkidd!)

Very Special thanks go out to LinuxKidd -- without his help, this new web site would have taken much much longer for me to develop!

Because of his help, the Heartland Owners Forum gets to see this first!

http://3gstore.com/coverage/

the reason i created that site is that many customers find it difficult to compare verizon and sprint coverage over their area easily.

this new site lets you enter zipcode once, and loads carrier coverage maps under "tabs" that allow a user to switch back and forth for easier comparison. the carrier map is also set to already show the fastest service -- blue for verizon and orange for sprint -- if available in that area.

Where is the map for AT&T??????
that didn't take long. i figured someone would ask.

our company gave up representing ATT for data service because too many customers complained about their lack of true, high speed "3G" data coverage.

if/when ATT gets high speed DATA coverage to come close to what EVDO is now, I'm pretty sure we'll start selling and supporting it again.

we might still put their coverage map on that site, but i could not find a way to 'dynamically' load coverage by zipcode, like the new site does for sprint and verizon now.

oh, and if you didn't know where it was on ATT site, look here: http://www.wireless.att.com/coverageviewer/

Unbelievably Blessed!
I can vouch for the worthlessness of AT&T air cards in rural Wyoming! Got rid of mine recently; got one from Alltel yesterday. Sucker works better than the old one ever wanted to! EVDO!!!!!
