Pump for air mattress

What powers the air mattress pump? Does it use only AC, or ???

120 volt AC only. However, there is a "drain plug" on the mattress and I think you could air it up with a 12 volt air mattress pump.

Thanks. This could be an issue for us. We have a couple of battery operated pumps for inflatable water stuff, hopefully one of these will work.

Anyone else had to inflate the air mattress while bookdocking?

Wiley, the plug is not the 1/4 inch size you would use for rubber duckies. It is the industrial 1 inch, or so size. So you would need a pump with a nozzle specific to air mattresses. I have one made by Coleman. works great.

hmmm. I think I have a Coleman pump that should work perfectly. Thanks for the info.
