Air Conditioner remote

I posted this in another area but maybe ask the factory is the best place to ask. Is there any way to get rid of the remote and put in a wall thermostat
without having to replace the air conditioner as well?

I remember a post on the forum about changing from the remote to a wall thermostat, but I can not find it now. I know it can be done. However in the meantime please contact Dometic they can give you details on how to get it done. See info below.

I may make the south Texas one but the other is out of the question. I decided I didn't like retirement and went back to work so my extended trips will be fewer for a while. I wouldn't mind going back to Palo Duro again one of these days either.

I absolutely hate mine.
