Well, we did it, got our 3670 in February. Just hadn't had a chance to post yet. I absolutely love the room in it. Our dream RV! Tows great. We are having trouble with the water heater, no hot water. Other than that, no problems yet. Made new friends in St. Louis when we stopped in and saw another BigHorn on the lot. This is the life!!

Congrats!

Regarding your water heater, pop into the chat room tonight if you get a chance and get some live help from some of the regulars there.

Couple things to check/bear in mind:

For LP Operation:

  • Make sure the water heater bypass valve is in the normal mode. You can test this by running a hot water tap. If water comes out, then water is passing through the tank
  • Make sure both LP tanks are fully open
  • Test your LP system by lighting the stove
  • Make sure you turned the gas burner/ignition system on. It's the red lighted switch on the white monitor panel
For AC Operation:

  • Make sure the water heater bypass valve is in the normal mode. You can test this by running a hot water tap. If water comes out, then water is passing through the tank
  • Outside, under the water heater cover panel, in the lower left-hand corner, look for a small black rocker switch. There may be a cotter pin in the switch handle. Remove the cotter pin and press the switch to the ON position
  • Make sure you turned turned the AC heating element on. It's a residential style wall switch usually in the control cabinet by your monitor panel. The handle of this switch usually has a red lighted handle
If the water is warm but not hot:

  • Check the outdoor shower to ensure that both the hot and cold faucets are off
  • If so equipped, indoors in your shower, if you have a shut-off valve inline with your shower head/wand, make sure that both the hot and cold faucets are off
