Towing with Ford F-250

We are going to get our tow package put on our 1999 Ford F 250 super duty short box...... Any suggestions for name and brand of brake packages and 5th wheel hitch....We are looking at Pull rite 5th wheel hitch

I'll stick in my 2cents. You said Pullrite, but I don't know what hitch, regular or super-glide. I use the super-glide and am very happy with it, although with a Heartland you usually don't need it. As for the brake control, buy the best you can get like a Prodigty or Brakesmart, DON"T SKIMP on quality. Let us know what you get as well as what camper. JON :cool::cool::cool::cool:

B&W... Love my hitch. Nice clean bed when not using it, no left over rails.

No guessing if it's locked or not.

Won't slid out, so no need for bed saver.

We have a 2002 F250 SuperDuty, Crew Cab, short-bed with the 7.3L diesel engine. We take delivery of our Sundance 3300RLB next month. Our hitch will be a Reese 16K with slider (I'll probably add later the bed saver too). The brake controller is a Tekonsha Voyager. Hope this helps.
