We will be travelling down the Oregon coast from July 15 - 31. Just wondering if anyone would care to share any most see places / things. There will be 2 couples and 5 kids under 5. Thanks in advance.

What route are you using to get to the coast? Are you coming down I5 and cutting over somewhere or are you coming down from the WA coast and crossing the bridge at Astoria? That bridge is an experience all in itself!

There is a lot to see, but we can give you better ideas once we know how you plan to get there.

Here's some links to oregon coast, The aquarium in Newport is a good place, South Beach CG is nice in the winter, probably crowded in summer? Sea Lion Caves just north of Florence is a good stop as well. There are nice State CG's All along the Coast Bullards Beach, Bastendorf Beach, Cape Blanco. Reservations are a must in summer. Check out these Links & let me know if I can help out with any questions or directions. I live in Coos Bay so should be able to help. Be sure to say Hi when you come thru were listed in Heartland H.O.T.E.L.

Taking the kids on a sand dunes ride in one of the huge buggies is fun too. They would love it.
