rear electric jacks

Has anyone replaced the single rocked switch for the rear jacks??
I am thinking of replacing the single one with 2 switchs so I can have indiviual control of the jacks. This way I would not have to build up with blocks to level the campsite when putting the jacks down.

Sounds like a good idea. Please let us know how it works out. I will be interested in doing a similar modification.

On our unit we have 1 switch with 1 motor. I am not sure, but I don't think you need to use blocks. It appears as though each side continues down until contact is made. If the surface is uneven, I notice that one side will reach the ground and stop, until the other side reaches the ground, and then it begins to lift.

rear jacks

Thanks for all of the reply's. We were just out yesterday for our walkthrough of our 3055 and yes there is only one motor to operate the jacks on the back. So no need for a second switch. One thing already crossed of the list.
