Is there a way to install metal valve stems and retain the original pressure sensors in a 2009 CTD drw?

Hi Ralph,
I moved your post to an area for tire pressure monitors on the forum. I'm sure someone will respond with some information for you.

You might give a little more information about your system, what kind and where are sensors located now.

The 2009 has original sensors on the truck?
I am having trouble using sensors, after market, pressure pro, on the short metal stems, because the hub caps wouldn't let the sensor install on the front axle. Have yet to find a longer metal stems. The 4 tires on rear axle, 4 on trailer are working. I have found valve extensions, but they wouldn't work becasue the dill(?) part of the valve dosn't have contact with the sensors

Ralphpam, do some checking around. Most cars and truck have used tire sensors for quite a few years. They all might have the same sensoring devices built into them and you might find some with longer stems. Bob
