Texas RV Parks- sales tax?

We have been charged sales tax at an RV park near Hemphill, TX. They charged us tax on the electric, too.
For some reason, I thought parks were exempt. What gives?

Thanks,
Cindy

Almost everything is taxed in Texas now, except for food in super market, drugs, and a few other things. But almost all consumer items and services are taxed. Yep Bob, even the labor in the service shop is taxed. That's just the way it is.. and it is about the same all over now.

They got that wild hair up their tailpipes in Michigan a while back. Tax everything, including doctor visits. Rumblings of mass recalls may have been the reason for not doing it.
